WHO WE ARE.
ON THE ROCKS (the collaborative works of Elaina Di Monaco and Haygen-Brice Walker) makes theatre-ish experiences that don’t force people to sit silently in a dark room for two hours. Our work is bold, messy, fucked up, unapologetic, queer, stupid, progressive, millennial and has recently included a lot of fake blood (that might be a phase).
ON THE ROCKS creates a special sort of deep-fried, late-night, BYOB theatrical shit show that has been showcased in our past two Philadelphia Fringe Festival shows (BIRDIE'S PIT STOP [and the tribe of queers who fucked everything up] and THE GROOM'S A FAG; THE BRIDE'S A CUNT; THE BEST MAN'S A WHORE; & the MAIDEN OF HONOR (JUST) HUNG HERSELF IN THE CLOSET). THE PROJECT
WOLFCRUSH is our newest project. It's a play that breaks all the rules. There's sex, wolfsex, beastiality, cannibalism, more sex, and lots of teenaged angst. We've been developing this play now for several months with our tribe of goonfucks and we cannot wait to share the work with you. For the first time, we're inviting you into our workshop process. We want to hear what you guys think, what you want more of, what freaked you out.
